Available Position for a Real Estate Appraiser in Austin Texas
Are you a skilled appraiser ready to work with Austin’s leading appraisal firm? Then we have an opportunity for you. We are currently accepting applications for a residential appraiser to work throughout the Austin area. This would be a great opportunity for an independent appraiser looking to add to or replace their current assignments.
One of the unique features of our business is that a majority of the assignments we receive are from private clients. Given this we prefer applicants who have previous experience working with general population assignments for private use.
COMPENSATION
Our firm is one of the top residential appraisal providers in the Austin market. Our visibility allows us to demand premium fees for our appraisal services. As a member of our team you will be compensated for each assignment you perform based on a generous fee split.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred applicants should possess a strong work ethic and be dependable. This means answering or returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, being punctual, and placing an emphasis on customer service. We prefer an applicant who has been evaluating properties in the Austin market area for a minimum of 3 years. Since you will be setting your own appointments directly with clients, strong time management skills are needed. Applicant should be able to routinely complete non-complex SFR assignments with 2-3 business days after the site visit.
Private assignments require a certain level of personal skills since you will often be working with the general public as your client. Experience in discussing the appraisal process and handling conversation with individuals will be necessary to be successful in this position. Appraisers who can think outside the box for more complex residential assignments and have a strong attention to detail will do well within our firm.

- Current E&O Insurance
- Professional Appearance & Attire for Site Visits
- Receptionist or office staff to handle communication is a bonus
